Released in 2010, Inception is a sci-fi action thriller about dream invasion. Christopher Nolan spent nearly a decade writing the script, which became a global box office sensation and won four Academy Awards.
The Detailed Plot: Subconscious Dream Architecture
Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a professional "extractor" who steals valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious minds of targets during dream states. However, this has made him a global fugitive and cost him his family.
Cobb is offered a chance to clear his record by Mr. Saito (Ken Watanabe). The mission is "inception"—planting an idea rather than stealing one. The target is Robert Fischer, heir to a massive corporate energy empire. Cobb recruits a team: Arthur the Point Man, Ariadne the Architect, Eames the Forger, and Yusuf the Chemist.
The team enters Fischer's mind on a long flight, descending through three layers of dreams: a rainy city streets layer, a zero-gravity hotel corridor layer, and a snowy military fortress layer. In the process, they must defend against Fischer's trained subconscious projection guards and Cobb's own projection of his dead wife, Mal, who tries to keep him trapped in Limbo.

- "Time" - The final emotional orchestral track that scores Cobb's arrival home and the famous spinning top climax.
- "Dream Is Collapsing" - A fast-paced, brass-heavy action track.
- "Mombasa" - A hyper-energetic, drum-heavy pursuit track.
